PRONE TO DISREGUARD WARNINGS

People are Prone to Disregard Warnings - -

What's behind this is the realization that many, many people electively choose not to comply with official orders of mandatory evacuation and intend to stay in place no matter what the warnings are. Many of these people are putting themselves at an extreme level of risk.

Someone was electing to stay in Galveston during a hurricane. This guy, his family and extended family were moving into a masonry building to ride it out. They were strong-willed, independent individuals who relish the idea of riding out something most of us would consider to be too dangerous to remain in.  Newsweek

There are different groups of people who suffer great loss during catastrophes. Some are warned and just ignore the warning. They do this for many different reasons but underlying them is a stubborn will of defiance.

Others just don't take the warnings serious and choose to go their way. Finally there are those who don't receive the warning, they don't know that they are in emanate danger and don't prepare for what is to come, and lastly some are so close to the danger they can't free themselves like living on an low lying island with no place to go.

All of the above were manifested in the earthquake driven tsunami's in the pacific the last few years. Some sought safety in strong buildings others remained on the seashore and perished.

The warnings in the scripture must be taken seriously and obeyed. Matthew 24:36-37: No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

This is a prayer to pray before danger is imminent.   Psalms 61:2-3 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.  For thou hast been a shelter for me.

Mark 4:24a Think carefully about what you are hearing. The Word of GOD requires the highest consideration you can give it and requires you to respond accordingly.

There is usually a price to pay for not heeding warnings whether it is overeating, smoking, placing yourself in danger or ignoring scriptural admonishments. It's either obey the truth behind the warnings or pay the consequences.

Revelations 22:7  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Ready when you are Lord!
