NEED TO KNOW

The government uses this "Need to know" scenario to cover up or hide from the people information of wrong doing. They quote the oft use words "security risks" to shut people up and to get them to back off.

This is also used in business, scientific experiments, and personal relationships. It is always subjective while feigning objectivity until someone decides what your needs are.

The government citing constitutionality have decided to protect "We the People" from the gospel of Jesus Christ in any form, such as on government buildings, in schools and have banned anything Christian from being associated with it.

Christ had a different opinion of the need of the gospel being embedded within the culture of all people and said: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel.” He didn't limit the methodology to church on Sunday morning.

Paul the apostle, a man who knew the written word of GOD, who had revelations directly from the throne of GOD still cried out; Philippians 3:10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death.   To comprehend Christ as to his person and the results of his work both in heaven and on earth.

'The object of the apostle's life—that for which he sacrificed everything: country, kindred, honor, comfort, liberty, and life itself, was, that he might know Christ. Observe that this is not Paul's prayer as an unconverted man, that he may know Christ, and so be saved; for it follows upon the previous supplication that he might win Christ and be found in him. This is the desire of one who has been saved, who enjoys the full conviction that his sins are pardoned, and that he is in Christ. It is only the regenerated and saved man who can feel the desire, "That I may know him." Are you astonished that a saved man should have such a desire as this? Beloved, let us PASS BY THAT CROWD OF OUTER-COURT WORSHIPPERS WHO ARE CONTENT TO LIVE WITHOUT KNOWING CHRIST. I do not mean the ungodly and profane; we will not consider them just now—they are altogether strangers and foreigners to him—I mean children of God: the visible saints."

Are we satisfied to know about him or do we need to join with Paul and say my goal is to know Him, personally, experientially. It is only in this way that we may understand and experience the Christ we serve.

Ephesians 3:19 and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fullness of God.

There are truths that are hidden for us and our need to know must compel us to seek a deeper knowledge of Him.
