THE CONTRAST

Through our existence we see and deal with various contrasts.

One of the most obvious is black and white.

Then there is rich and poor, this contrast is a serious difference that is rued by the poor.

Also, the good and the evil stands out in everyday life, that which devastates and that which blesses.

The “almost” carries with it a measure of contrasts; when we almost get the job, means we are unemployed.

If I bet my fortune on a horse named, “Can’t lose,” and he loses by a nose, it means I am busted. Instead of being a winner and I am in abject poverty. You have to say that is quite a contrast.

Being in prison for life and being free to live life outside those restraining walls is quite a difference.

And the biggie is; whether you are in heaven or in Geheena (hell) for eternity.

The blessing of GOD here on earth is but an infinitesimal sample of the glories of heaven, while in contrast hell on earth is only a tiny .0001 % of what Hell’s torment will be like.

One of the worst things about being lost in Hell is the knowledge that it could have been avoided very easily by accepting GOD’S forgiveness and becoming a believer.

Each New Year brings with it new hope. May we determine to not consent to “negative almosts” to rule and ruin this year for us.

I have prayed for this year, for my family, my friends and those who I may come into contact with, that their year will be a prosperous one, in spirit, soul and body. Oh yes, you were included in that prayer.
