TALK

Communication of some manor is essential to our existence. It doesn’t matter what method is used but without it interaction is mostly a guessing game.

Babies start off with squalling, and soon add a contented goo goo.

Until they learn to articulate their wishes, mothers have to go with what seems to be obvious or use a try and see method. This is where you feed them and if they shut up they were probably hungry.

Body language is or can be quite expressive. I recall some of my teachers that could show their displeasure with a frown and it would be “Message received.”

In everyday living we depend upon verbal expressions to wend our way through our daily life. In the home life we use it to talk, to teach, discipline, exercise power, to enhance moments of passion and dozens of other things.

Given that talk carries with it such importance, one of the things that should be foremost in our lives is to perfect it with the utmost fervor.

The Apostle John in his gospel reveals Jesus as the Word (Logos) The totality of all verbal expression within the spiritual realm.

His words preceded his actions and his actions validated his words. Jesus said in; John 6:63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.

Matthew 4:4 "It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God."

These words and others open the door to the very throne room of GOD.

May I suggest that the next time you read his words that you see them as giving forth both spiritual substance, and the life force not unlike the way they performed in Genesis chapter one when GOD said let there be; and there WAS.

These words will feed your spirit and build your faith if you accept them as being from the mouth of GOD to you.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
