Open Boarder Policy (AKA Immigrant Reform)

When you see people carrying signs demanding that America open its borders and let everyone come to America with full citizen rights you can’t help but wonder, who are these people?

Being of a suspicious nature I would guess that many are self serving, and are also here illegally. One of the main themes; is the argument that we citizens of America do not have the right to deny anyone who wishes to immigrate here.

They think they are in charge, and anyone who opposes them are racist, prejudiced, and should be ashamed of their opinions. It would be unfair to deny the right of access to anyone; if these people prevail.

Who shall we be unfair to? China has almost one and a half billion people, India one point two billion, Mexico one hundred and eight million, Japan one hundred and twenty seven million, and the rest of the world, totaling seven billion people.

Which one of these people do we have the right to deny full citizenship to?

According to the sign carriers, we can deny none. Do we as citizens have the right to say no to these who want to flood our country with people, and their cultural hang-ups .The often quoted poem says; “Send us your wretched refuse of your teeming shore.”

But seven billion of them might be a bit too much of a welfare load.
