Various theological bents create both GOD and JESUS in projected images fashioned out of their own thinking processes which are suspect in the least.
The complex mental process of imagination calls for imaginatory thinking which is in full usage in all our visionary perceptions of GOD. In other words we use our imagination when we envision GOD. We think in pictorials, our words project an image of the subject matter.
Therefore it is essential that our thinking is based upon spiritual Truth.
Isaiah 28:9-10 Whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.”
This is a good practice that leads to knowledge. Take it a little at a time, let it sink in, and let it direct your path.
Paul is my hero because he dedicated his life after conversion to making sure that the freedom we have in Christ is not annulled by the Old Testament law.
He struggled against the Judaizers at every turn, and because he was successful we are free in Christ, and not bound to obeying the law that condemns us.
Every word Paul wrote carries a message for the Christian lifestyle we should lead.
He interprets Christ words for new covenant believers.
Start in the book of Acts and continue through all his writings and he will explain our faith in terms we can visualize and apply to our daily walk.
As you feed upon Paul's writings there is a teacher within you;
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:
Note that the Spirit of Truth has come and will guide you as you feed upon God’s word as explained by Paul.
If we are to know our GOD we must know HIS Word for it is there we find out what HE has revealed about HIMSELF.
There are only a few who have had the experience that Noah, Moses, Peter and Paul have had, and any so called newbies are not relevant to my Christian walk.
