BILLY HILL, The setting is in the early 1940s.
Logan the con man was busy taking orders selling everything from magazines to
new Buicks; accepting money up front and not delivering. Therefore each town needed a quick get away. He recruited innocent Billy Hill straight from
the sticks; remade him into "Ricardo," the smiling Romeo, to complete
the scam. Billy amassed a fortune for
his share when suddenly Logan caught a freight train out of town due to a
problem with a farmer’s daughter. Billy
decided to take his treasures home and become himself again. The story continues with romance and new
adventures most of them honest.
