THE WAY and The Means

In the following Bible verses found in first Timothy, we are warned about what amounts to covetousness, and in the book of Ephesians, covetousness is also coupled with fornication, uncleanness, and Idolatry.

1Timothy 6:8 If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.

1Timothy 6:9 But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.

1Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

There is a secret place in man where the truth of who we are is exposed. It is the place where nothing is hidden, and where we deal or don’t deal with our weaknesses. This is the place where the total composite of who we are is revealed. A collage of the sum total of self is shown without filters.

Here we find the HOLY SPIRIT indwelling, Illuminating, pointing out that, which would be hurtful to you, should it be manifested outwardly.

Some have expressed this act of the SPIRIT by saying; ”GOD is not through with me yet”.

This secret place in man is the area where the love of money can take control and will add “all sorts of evil.”

This is an inward attitude concerning money, but there is another side of money and that is; it is the MEANS by which the gospel is spread abroad.

There is one man who this year is responsible for the Production of 115 movies. Two years ago one of his movies grossed 228 million dollars.

Today the spread of the gospel is hindered by the lack of money.

Money is power. Power to spread the Word of GOD to every person.

Jesus is the WAY, Money is the MEANS. Pray that the LORD of the Harvest will send forth laborers into his harvest, and pray they will have the means to go where they are sent, and to get the job done.
