Once there was this country boy who went to town and he had courting on his mind, but there no object of his affection at the present time. He had put on his newest overalls, white shirt, necktie and his best coat. He thought if he shined up his t model ford, between him and it (T-MODEL)He should get some attention.
When he got to Main Street there came a dream a-walkin, and he saw right off that she was perfect she. As he slowed down and got closer to her, their eyes met for a brief moment and he instantly fell in love.
He knew she must feel the same way as he does for she couldn’t feel otherwise. He slowly drove by her and tried to start up a conversation but she didn't want to talk.
When he looked in his back mirror he saw her get into a nice car with some man and drove off at a fast speed the other way and in a split moment she was gone. He had found and lost his true love in less than 30 seconds. As he brokenheartedly looked back at where she disappeared,while he was dreaming and he sang this song.
