Don't stew and sweat over
things you have no control over.
Unless you are a paid
professional don't try to solve other people's problem.
Don't go any farther than to
listen and try to offer comfort to people with problems.
Best to be very slow to give
advice to troubled people.
Troubled
people will often take good advice and misapply it. Then blame the one who
tried to help them.
Beware
of people who are problem inclined. Even if you bail them out they will soon be
entangled in another situation and expect you to help them again.
Don't let your compassion
over rule your common sense when people try to dump their erroneous choices on
you.
Ignore
everything I just told you for you won't be satisfied unless you meddle into
other people's business.
